Happy New Year!!!

Another holiday season has almost passed, and guess what were all still here!!! Tee Hee!!! Actually we've been crazy busy (as normal) and the Dillon family is looking forward to starting at the top of a new year again. Jaxsen is still enjoying in 1st grade and has lots of new friends because his teacher is trying to find someone to sit next to him that he won't want to talk to!!! HAHAHAHA!!! Poor teacher! Elizabeth survived her first basketball season with no broken bones or black eyes, she still loves doing homework and being a model student! At least we got one!!! (just kidding!!) I'm loving Senior year and can't wait for this spring. Dance is awesome, Drill Team is as dramatic as ever, and college applications are going to drive me crazy! Whoo Hoo!!! Kevin's working at the store, for now, but will be starting classes at CSI this January (wish him luck!!!) Mom and Dad are still as obnoxious and ornery as ever (it's getting worse with age) Hahaha!!! Just kidding again, their amazing!!! Any way I'm sure I haven't told you everything but hopefully you got a Christmas letter, it'll fill in all of the blanks!!!!

I know you all probably get sick of me saying this, but wow we have been so crazy busy lately!!! Sorry its taken so long to post again, but here is an update... in April we went to prom-which was awesome- and tons of school and dance and stuff!! in May Kevin graduated from both high school and seminary -Halleluiah- and Jaxsen graduated from kindergarten!! yeah!!! in June we all worked a ton and Dad got older-hahaha- July has been quite the adventure!! we celebrated the 4th of July, Kevin turned 18, we went on the best family vacation ever to California, the 24th celebration was amazing and everybody is still alive!!! yeah!!! We're pretty impressive huh!!! We now get to look forward to my 17th birthday and our last month of summer. Who knows what crazy happenings will come up next!!!

HI... AGAIN!!!

It's amazing what happens in a month....but I think this one has been relatively calm. HAHAHA! actually Elizabeth is now officially 11 and had a delicious birthday cake!!! Old age does her well....Tee Hee! Just kidding.... This was a great month for the Oakley Drill Team.. on the 19th with special permission our team went to the state drill team competition...And you'll never guess what happened... ... ... We won!!!!! Yes, the Oakley Stingerettes now have a state trophy and matching banner that looks twice as fine as the football team's!!!(not really, they look exactly the same)We officially rounded out the season with 19 first place trophies, 2 second place trophies, and a Grand Champion trophy. Amazing isn't it!!! Well, prom, Main Motion competitions, youth government and other essential activities are coming up. I'll let you know what happens!!!!

Sorry, again, that its been so long.... apparently it's February! Hahahaha! Well, a brief update in fast forward would be, Happy Birthday, Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Valentines Day!! I think that about covers it all. And an update in the sports world...Football finished sooner than expected, Basketball was entertaining as always and Kevin is still alive. Dance is busy and crazy like always, Elizabeth is so awesome!!! Jaxsen started sports career with an amazing soccer season that blew everyone away, and my amazing drill team is crushing the competition everywhere. Coming up soon is Main Motion competitions that both Elizabeth and myself are going to rock...Oakley Stingerettes have two more competitions and we hope to bring even more trophies home...Kevin is at the beginning of the track season... and Jaxsen... well... he's interesting!!!! Well I hope I didn't leave to much out... if you have questions please call. Tee Hee!!

PS> I almost forgot, Mom and Dad are still alive and kicking (alot!!!!) hahahaha

Have you ever noticed that once school starts you have time for absolutely nothing. Sorry the first day of school pics are a little late but free time is a hard thing to come by. This year, yes, we have a senior and a kindergartner in the same family. (with a very awesome junior and a way cute 5th grader in the middle) The first two weeks of school have been hectic and stressful but we have all survived so far, so I think we will still be alive at the end of the year!!! What fun to look forward to!! The football season started out with a bang. The varsity team has won both 11 man games so far this season and the rest looks promising. Wish them luck and I promise to keep you updated!!!! Love ya tons!!!

Hello World!!!

Well, guess what its been a little busy around here!!! Surprise, surprise.
At the end of May summer officially began, and since that time I've been a little busy with work, and camps, and birthdays, and family visits. (I'll stop there, I could go on for a while) And, Yes, so has the rest of my family. Not to many exciting things happened in June, except Dad got older, he's getting close to 40 now. Watch out world!!! Mom has been an angel :-) and can't get any more any busy or I think that she'll blow!! Her plan for scrubbing our house top to bottom did succeed and now waits for another school year to ruin it, yet again!!! Kevin has been working hard. Not only did he get older and manage to become and Eagle scout but he is still alive! Shocking, I know. Elizabeth has been loving her unlimited amount of free time this summer and extra long weekends with cousins. Jaxsen, oh Jaxsen there are no words to explain how much fun that kid is having!!! And last but hopefully not least is myself. I've managed to survive the summer with only minimal injuries. Yahoo!! I guess that the best you can hope for. Oakley's first football game is the 27th of August (in Oakley against Canyon Ridge) I hope that I have something exciting to tell you then!!!!! LUV YA TONS!

I think I say this every time I post, but sorry its been so long, life's a little crazy around here. Let me update you on everything that you've missed.... In February, Drill team competition season began, and Kevin was asked to Pref. In March, Elizabeth turned 10, and the Oakley Drill team took 2nd place at state. April is when things got really hairy. Main Motion began its competition season, with two dance comps already this month, and the Prom preparations have lasted more than 2 weeks. Now Prom is over, drill team has less than a week left, Main Motion only has one last competition, Kevin needs a Court of Honor, and there is only 5 weeks left till summer. I'm sure I've left a ton out, but now you have a basic idea of whats been happening. I think 5 weeks is plenty of time to finish everything and begin summer, don't you think!!! I promise I try to post sooner next time. LUV YA!!!

We haven't updated for a while so here is a look at our December lives. The piano recital and the dance recital and the elementary school program was all before Christmas. Christmas day was a ton of fun. Grandma Cyd stayed with us and we had so much fun opening presents from Santa and the family. Thank you to everyone who gave us gifts. They are very much appreciated. We hope that all of you had a good Christmas and New year. Love you lots!!!!

Football State Champions!!!!

Major congrats to the football team on their amazing state victory. Oakley played Prairie on Saturday the 21st and came home with a new blue trophy. After being tied almost the entire game Oakley pulled ahead in the final minutes of the 4th quarter winning 28 to 20. The football team is amazing and they showed everyone just how amazing they were. Mom had alot of fun these last few weeks, directing the high school choir in their version of Charlie Brown. The performances were amazing, mom did a great job!!!!

Happy Halloween everyone!!! This year Jaxsen was spiderman and Elizabeth was a scarecrow. They each have enough candy to last them till next year!!! Today Oakley started their state playoffs and won 62-14 against Notice. We will be playing Castleford next week in Castleford. Everything else in life is wonderful here in little old Oakley, hope everyone else is great!!!!!!

Sorry we haven't updated for a while. things have been really busy!!!! Mom turned 40 and Jaxsen turned 5 on the 9th. Homecoming week was great, and yes kevin did go on his first date and had tons of fun. school got canceled last week because about half of the student body was at home sick. The football team is still amazing they have won every game this season, of course.
